Terms of Service

This Terms of Service is provided by Andreas Christofi, company number sole trader (Cyprus) — not yet registered, registered at Cyprus (registered address pending) (the trading name ClearPace is operated by this entity). For questions, contact support@clearpace.com.

1. Service description

ClearPace is a personal finance tool that helps you organise your own financial information — accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, and recurring payments — and computes a daily Safe-to-Spend figure. ClearPace is not a bank and never connects to your bank.

2. Not financial advice

ClearPace does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All information shown — including Safe-to-Spend, budget forecasts, and goal pacing — is informational only and based on the data you enter. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.

3. Subscription and billing

ClearPace is offered on a paid subscription at €8 per month, with a 14-day free trial. A valid payment card is required to start the trial. You will not be charged until day 14, after which the subscription auto-renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing; access continues until the end of the current paid period. For refund terms, see our refund policy.

4. Paddle as merchant of record

Paddle.com Inc is the merchant of record for ClearPace purchases. Paddle handles payment processing, fraud prevention, sales tax, and refunds in our name. Your card statement will show "Paddle*ClearPace" or similar.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: attempting to access other users' accounts, reverse-engineering the service, using it to send unlawful content, or overloading the infrastructure with automated requests.

6. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security or legal risk, with reasonable notice where possible.

7. Warranty and uptime

ClearPace is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Liability cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months immediately preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus, without affecting any mandatory consumer-rights protections you may have in your country of residence.
