This Privacy Policy is provided by Andreas Christofi, company number sole trader (Cyprus) — not yet registered, registered at Cyprus (registered address pending) (the trading name ClearPace is operated by this entity). For questions, contact support@clearpace.com.
ClearPace is not a bank and never connects to your bank. The only financial data we hold is what you choose to enter.
What we collect
- Account email address and full name (from sign-up).
- Financial information you enter manually: account names, balances, transactions, budgets, goals, and recurring payments.
- Basic technical data needed to operate the service: session cookies, IP address (for security), and anonymised error reports.
What we do not collect
- Bank login credentials — we never ask for them.
- Read-only or write access to any of your bank or card accounts.
- Card details — payments are handled by Paddle.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored in our managed database hosted in the European Union. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS; data at rest is encrypted at the storage layer.
Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete personal and financial data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain billing records for tax purposes (typically 7 years).
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete all of your data at any time from Settings. You can also email us and we will action requests within 30 days, in line with GDPR.
Sub-processors
We use a small set of trusted providers to operate the service: Supabase (database and authentication, EU region), Paddle (payments and billing), Sentry (error monitoring with PII scrubbing), and Cloudflare (hosting and edge runtime).
